Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Boring Kanban. By creating an account you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.

Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction to use the service.

Acceptable use

Don't use Boring Kanban to:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• store or distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or probe the service;
• resell or sublicense access without our written agreement.

Billing

Boring Kanban costs $5 per month, billed through Stripe, covering your whole team. Trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel beforehand. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display it so the service can function. You can export your data at any time as Markdown or JSON.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance and update features over time. The service is provided "as is," without warranties beyond those that can't be disclaimed under applicable law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Cancellation and termination

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice and keep the data exporter available so you can take your work with you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and notify account holders of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
