About

We built the tool we wanted to use.

Most project tools start small and honest, then spend a few years adding rooms onto the house until nobody can find the kitchen. Dashboards, automations, "AI insights," an integrations marketplace — each one sensible on its own, all of them together a maze.

Boring Kanban is a reaction to that. We kept exactly two things: a board to move work across, and a place to talk about it. Everything else we left out on purpose, and we wrote down the things we'll never build so we can be held to it.

We charge one flat price — $5 a month for the whole team, no seat math, no "Enterprise" call. The bet is simple: a tool that stays small stays useful, and a price that stays the same stays trustworthy.

That's the whole story. It's not a dramatic one, and we'd like to keep it that way.
